Flat Bhutto

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan (AFP) - Pakistan opposition leader Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in a suicide attack on Thursday, just two months after the former premier returned from exile for a political comeback. While at a political voting rally, a suicide bomber blew himself up, killing himself, AND the two-time Pakistani Prime Minister. Who was behind it? Well there have been no confirmed suspicions, but I think the man behind the killings was a man whose name rhymes with Schmervez Schmusharaff. (Not to give off too much of a hint :])

Tommy-Trivia: This was the deadliest suicide bombing in Pakistan history, leaving 139 people dead and a few wounded. The TB's condolences go out to Ms. Bhutto's family, friends, and supporters.

Christmas Cheer Tommy Bloggikins!

Welcome to the first Christmas that the Blogg has celebrated with you. The fact that you are reading this can only mean that you are coursing with sugar from the Christmas candy and love. I am typing this from my brand new LAPTOP computer that my wonderful mother got for me, wearing the Notre Dame football tee frrom her as well. I just got Guitar Hero III with a limited edition Reaper controller. I spent the last two days with my inner-city family, my uncle Ben, cousin Brandon, and Brandon's mom Laura. In The Lab

The Quicks are in production of their first studio album, The Good, The Bad, and The Quicks, and I'm sure you were all fooled by the song on the Quicks' page, which was actually recorded by my buddy Zachery Weer, who is doing quite a lot of comedy these days. Myself and Jay Richards aka J.R. Richards aka Jay Frampton are in collaboration with St. Louis band "Modern Primitives" (whose myspace is the first link in the "people I don't" hate box) for the first track on the upcoming album. We will also be doing it with samples of several others, including possibly Boys Like Girls, of Montreal, Madelyn, and several others.

The Tommy Blogg Talkbox Interviews Greg Fitzsimmons from VH1

Now I send out a lot of interview requests, and I put the questions on the email. I sent out one to Michael Colton and John Aboud of "The Modern Humorist" and frequent VH1 panelists. So, on a rool with VH1 panelists, I interviewed Greg Fitzsimmons (pictured right) who wrote a lot for The Ellen DeGeneres Show and is a generally funny dude. Watch him on VH1 and he seems like a really really generally nice dude (a tad awkward, but nice) right? So, I sent him the general comedian interview transcript, and he got mad for some reason because one of the below questions was adressed to BOTH Michael and John of The Modern Humorist, so I referred to them as "you two". Apparently, Greg is a mondo asshole. But, he fired off an apologetic email shortly after and for that, I consider him a "friend of the blog". as is tradition here, here is... In this blog's mind, that is best. As far as honorable mention, "The Pretender" is the best "agressive" video of the year.

Who here has seen the trailers for the new "Rambo" movie? I think being a has-been and playing a hasbeen boxer is okay. Thats fine. But a has-been playing the most dangerous vigilante of all time, that's where the Blogg draws the line. I just can't wait for him to kill the communists with his AARP card, or crippling Fidel Castro with his cane. I am actually going to NOT watch this movie just because I think Sly is past his time. Tell me how it is?

2. If I can figuire out the scan function on this darn Lexmark X2500 and I stop getting an error message on the pictoral upload form, I officially have photos of my DEADLY sewing machine accident. The accident that happened just 6 hours before my first blog post EVER is finally getting some photo evidence.

3. Can Oprah Winfrey "Ba-Rocket" Barack Obama to the top of the democratic primary? The queen of the modern-day talk show is DEFINITELY going to be with mister Obama on the campaign trail. And who knows? If Oprah can't be happy with Stedman, then maybe she could be Obamas first lady and pop out a few Barack-lets :)

4. My outrage is iminent! Any REAL video gamer watched the 2007 Video Game Awards on Spike TV this last night, and anyone with a brain would as well be angered at their GAY choice for game of the year, where Rachel "I am not famous" Bilson announced that "Bioshock", the less-than-satisfactory 2K games let-down, beat out Halo 3! I am angry, and so is AMERICA!

5.
